Description

Used for the separate analogue audio channels of a 5.1 channel digital soundtrack A 6 channel connection is a set of six RCA plugs grouped together on some home cinema amplifiers and processors, and some DVD-Video players. The six connectors are front-left, front-right, front-centre, surround-left, surround-right and sub-woofer. If the digital surround sound decoder is in a different component to the amplification, the 6 channel connection is used to get the sound information to the amp.
